Our Foster Program

We started a program in January of 2026 to help one of our local rescue groups- Forever Friends Animal Rescue. During this program, Lisa will be using her Canine Culture training skills to work with our foster dogs. Setting these dogs up for success and the most loving homes is something we are looking forward to. They will also get a full-service groom, and extra TLC during their stay with us.

Introducing Shane

Shane is two years old and has only seen the bad in people. That changed when he was brought to Forever Friends care from Syracuse Dog Control.

He was starving, dehydrated and full of dandruff on his dull coat. Shane has done nothing but love on all of the Forever Friends volunteers and staff at Sweet Paws. We all enjoy greeting Shane when we walk in the door!

He is good with cats! He would prefer to be the only dog in the household. Shane loves to take walks and explore. He soaks up as much love as he can, too!
